Friends! \nIt’s time to create some RIOT ART! \nIf you are angry with the rise of an authoritarian regime; if you need a healthy\, safe and creative way to express your frustrations; if you are looking for an outlet to commune with other creatives and like-minded resisters…JOIN US! \nBring whatever portable art you are currently working on\, plan your next protest poster or try one of the activities provided! You are also more than welcome to just come\, sip coffee and socialize with a welcoming and inclusive group. (Please bring your own materials for your own projects.) \nWe can discuss the state of the world and what we can do about it while purging out any toxins via the vehicle of creativity. We can also share resources\, upcoming events\, and brainstorm other creative actions and opportunities to fight fascism and make a difference in our community. \nIf you don’t have your own project to work on\, we will have supplies for the following: \n\nBlackout Poetry\nProtest Peg Dolls\nResistance Rocks\nCollage Materials\nA button maker will be available to create your own unique Buttons against Billionaires\nSmall selection of index paper and blank postcards to make protest art or mail an important message.\nThis month’s featured project: Kintsugi Paper Hearts\n\n*Donations for supplies are needed and always appreciated …materials like heavy duty poster board\, bold permanent markers\, and glue sticks. If you are willing to donate\, please reach out as to what materials are most needed at the time! \nCoffee will be provided. Feel free to bring a treat to share. \nALL are welcome. Absolutely NO artistic experience necessary!
