Host Tom Ellis says:  In this second meeting of our Indivisible Study Group, we will be discussing the first half, Chapters 1-5, of Gene Sharp’s book From Dictatorship to Democracy. It is an excellent manual for understanding the challenges and possibilities of nonviolent resistance to tyranny, based on a worldwide study of nonviolent popular movements to defy and ultimately dismantle tyrannical regimes.
In November, we will discuss the second half, Chapters 6-10, which focus more specifically on the best practices of strategic planning to subvert fascist rule.  The book was deliberately made available for free download.
