Birthday Party for Social Security

Since August 1935, the Social Security Act has been a cornerstone of America’s commitment to its people—a lasting reminder that investing in individuals creates a stronger, more equitable future for everyone. Please join Salem Region Indivisible as we celebrate and defend this important American milestone.
We will have delicious cake, a testimonial booth where you can share your Social Security story (or your hopes for its continued existence), some give-aways, and a short slate of notable speakers.
We’ll be creating a video of the day’s events for our YouTube channel and other social media accounts, and to share with our elected officials.
